Despite having 22 active Neighbourhood Watches operating, our valley is still averaging 10 house-breakings a week, according to the Fish Hoek Community Police Forum.Don’t wait until you also become part of the statistics

Here are some basic steps that you can take to reduce the chances of you or your family becoming a victim:

• Be pro-active and get an alarm system (if you don’t already have one)

• Get 24/7 Monitoring and Armed Response from a reputable company (not necessarily the cheapest one!, the onus is on you to check that your security service provider is registered and up-to-date in its fees. It is a criminal offence to use the services of an unregistered supplier)

• Get involved in your local Neighbourhood Watch (if there isn’t one in your area, start one!)

Why should you use YMA as your Armed Response service provider?

YMA Security Services is the only registered Armed Response service provider to be based and operate in the Fish Hoek Valley (all the other Armed Response service providers operating in the valley are either based outside the valley or fly-by night outfits).

We currently service clients from Fish Hoek to Kommetjie and Noordhoek.

Started in October 2006 with 5 clients, we now have over 250 customers. We recently bought our 3rd patrol vehicle.

Our Control-Room operates 24/7 (despite Eskom’s load-shedding) and has recently been up-graded.

The location of our offices, at the corner of Kommetjie road and Palm Avenue (at the Capri traffic lights) put us right at the centre of the valley and allows us to reach most of our clients within a few minutes of driving.

As a result, our response time has been consistently under 10 minutes since we started operating. We respond to all alarm activations on time and every time.

All our personnel on duty wear proper uniforms and equipment. Our patrol cars are permanently marked and in permanent radio-contact with our Control-room.

We also provide Armed Response services for other control-rooms such as Bayview Security, Combat Force, Online Security, Star Alarm and the Mountain Men.
