Guarding

• Our guarding division operates only within the same footprint than the Armed Response Services, i.e. only in the Fish Hoek valley.
• Our Security Officers are all registered with PSIRA.
• Extensive background checks are done and acted upon.
• All our Security Officers undertakes the Ideco Fingerprint clearance and get their fingerprint recorded in the South African National Central Fingerprint Registry.
• Our Security Officers will also take a polygraph test if and when necessary or when requested by the client.
• Our Security Officers wear the company uniform and equipment necessary to perform their duties such as Flashlight, Pepper spray, Flexi-cuffs, Tonfa and Occurrence booklets.
• They are in permanent radio contact with the shift leader and the Control-room.
• They also benefit from a permanent back-up from our Armed Response Officers should the need arises.
• They carry a company cell-phone for back-up should the radio fail.
• They also carry a company ID Card.
• Our Security Officers get paid much more than the minimum requested by PSIRA and therefore we expect much more from them.
• They work on a 3-shifts on/3 shifts off system that allows them to be fresher when on duty than the traditional system of 5 on/2 off. It is more costly to the company, but easier for the Security Officers.
